The Jade Screen Tower Hotel ( Yupinglou binguan ) is a three star hotel built on the famous Jade Screen Peak. The hotel provides various rooms ranging from doubles to suites, but all are fairly simple. The up side of the place is both its cheap price, and the magnificent views that you can get from here, looking out from around 1600 meters above sea level. The hotel does have both a Chinese and western restaurant - the lower dining hall is cheap and not of great standard, but the upper restaurant is one of the best on this side of the mountain (also one of the only!). For recreation the hotel has a sauna, a massage center for cramped climbing muscles, a tiny shopping arcade, and a dancing hall. There is also a business center that provides basic secretarial service and access to IDD telephones.
